The film tells about the life and work of the Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation, theater and film director Valery Akhadov. The consequences of the civil war in Tajikistan forced the director to leave his homeland at the peak of his career and move the troupe of the Dushanbe theater to Magnitogorsk, essentially starting everything from scratch.
