The main character of the film, Alexander Logunov, can be called the informal keeper of Slepnevo, the former Gumilyov family estate, where Anna Akhmatova and Nikolai Gumilyov spent their summer months from 1911 to 1917. In the film, one can feel the miraculous rapprochement between Alexander and another main character, Nikolai Stepanovich Gumilyov himself.
